Declan Murphy is the Mortimer D. Sackler Professor of Translational Neurodevelopment, head of the Department of Forensic and Neurodevelopmental Science, director of the Sackler Institute for Translational Neurodevelopment and deputy director of the Medical Research Council Centre for Neurodevelopmental Disorders at King’s College London. He is also the European Union representative on the steering committee of the Autism Biomarkers Consortium for Clinical Trials (ABC-CT) research study. He led the European Autism Interventions – A Multicentre Study for Developing New Medications (EU-AIMS) and is currently the academic project lead of the Autism Innovative Medicine Studies-2-Trials (AIMS-2-Trials). He has published more than 300 peer-reviewed papers with more than 100 of these papers on the topic of autism.
