Michael Lombardo is a psychologist and neuroscientist who studies multi-scale heterogeneity in autism. He graduated with a degree in psychology from the University of California, Davis and received a Ph.D. and postdoctoral training in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Cambridge. Currently, Lombardo is a tenured senior scientist at the Italian Institute of Technology in Rovereto, Italy, where he directs the Laboratory for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
