Rebecca Jones’ graduate work focused on studying typical brain development using behavioral and functional MRI (fMRI) techniques. During her postdoctoral fellowship with Catherine Lord, Jones was trained in the diagnostic and assessment tools for children and adolescents with ASD, as well as in analyzing data with these measurements. In her laboratory, and in collaboration with Jonathan Power, Jones is studying the underlying neural circuitry of restricted interests and new methods for pediatric imaging experiments to better understand the longitudinal behavioral and neurobiological changes of restricted interests in individuals with ASD.
