Martin Kampmann is an assistant professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics and the Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He is also an investigator at the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub.
Timothy Yu is a neurologist and genomics researcher at Harvard Medical School. His research group applies advanced genomic methods to advance our understanding of the genetic and neurobiological underpinnings of neurodevelopmental disorders, at the bench and in the clinic. He received his B.A. in biochemistry and molecular biology from Harvard College and M.D. and Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of California, San Francisco, completed neurology residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Brigham and Women’s Hospital and did a neurodevelopmental disorders fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital and the MGH Lurie Center.
Evan Eichler’s laboratory has considerable experience in the organization of duplicated and repetitive DNA and their role in contributing to de novo deletions and duplications associated with intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder and other genomic disorders. His team has developed novel computational and experimental methods to characterize genetic variation within both unique and highly duplicated regions in the genome.
Michael Talkowski received his Ph.D. in human genetics and trained in genomics as a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and the Broad Institute.
Fan Wang is a SFARI Investigator, professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and investigator at the McGovern Institute.
Gaia Novarino is a professor and group leader at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria. Before moving to Austria, she worked as a research fellow at the University of California, San Diego, as well as the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in the Helmholtz Association and the Center for Molecular Neurobiology Hamburg. Her research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental disorders.
