Ami Klin, is the director of the Marcus Autism Center, a subsidiary of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and is also Georgia Research Alliance Eminent Scholar Professor at Emory University School of Medicine. Until 2010, he directed the autism program at the Yale Child Study Center and was the Harris Professor of Child Psychology & Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine.

Klin’s primary research activities focus on the early development of social mind and social brain in infants and toddlers, and derailments thereof in children with autism and related neurodevelopmental disorders. His group’s work includes quantitated growth charts of social visual engagement, speech-language and brain connectivity and tractography in densely sampled cohorts of human babies and analogous studies in infant rhesus macaques.
