SFARI Investigators elected to the National Academy of Medicine in 2019

Six current and past SFARI Investigators were elected to the National Academy of Medicine in October:

David Amaral, Ph.D. (University of California, Davis)

Rui Costa, D.V.M., Ph.D. (Columbia University Medical Center)

Guo-li Ming, M.D., Ph.D. (University of Pennsylvania)

Nenad Sestan, M.D., Ph.D. (Yale University)

Beth Stevens, Ph.D. (Boston Children’s Hospital; Harvard Medical School)

Established in 1970 as the Institute of Medicine, the National Academy of Medicine comprises distinguished professionals in the fields of health and medicine, as well as the social and behavioral sciences. This year, 100 new members were elected. The complete list can be found here.
