Denis Jabaudon works in the Department of Basic Neurosciences at the University of Geneva. His research focuses on understanding genetic mechanisms underlying the development and plasticity of cortical and thalamic circuits.

Specifically, his laboratory aims to identify the gene expression programs that enable distinct subtypes of thalamic and neocortical neurons to assemble into modality-specific circuits, understand how sensory experience regulates these differentiation programs during development and how these programs are disrupted in disease states.
