Maria Clara Selles is a mentor in the 2024 SURFiN program. She is a postdoctoral fellow in Moses Chao’s lab at New York University. Selles holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Buenos Aires and a Ph.D. in biological chemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Her research focuses on the interplay between social interactions and oxytocin. Selles is the recipient of the PEW Latin American Fellowship.
