Hilary Finucane, Ph.D.

Hilary Finucane is an assistant professor in medicine at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital and an associate member of the Genetics Program in the Stanley Center for Psychiatric Research at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. She holds a B.A. from Harvard University in mathematics, an M.Sc. from the Weizmann Institute of Science in theoretical computer science and a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in applied mathematics. She did her Ph.D. research in statistical genetics in the lab of Alkes Price, funded by a Hertz Foundation Fellowship, after which she started a research group at the Broad Institute as a Schmidt Fellow. She is also a recipient of the NIH Director’s Early Independence Award.
