New Omics Data Available from Autism BrainNet

Autism BrainNet (ABN) announces the release of genetic data from the laboratories of Tomasz Nowakowski and Stephan Sanders. This release includes omics data from studies of postmortem brain tissue provided by ABN, a collaborative network of academic sites that collects, stores and distributes brain tissue for autism research.

The Nowakowski and Sanders labs have generated two single-nucleus multiome datasets, the first based on analysis of Wernicke’s area (Brodmann Area 22) and the second based on analysis of the putamen. Donors were genotyped on the Global Screening Array-24 v3.0 (GRCh38) using tissue from Wernicke’s area cortex to enable demultiplexing of pooled donors.

Interested researchers can request access to these datasets through SFARI Base, where they can also find more information on the sample metadata and data use guidelines.
