Jeremy Veenstra-VanderWeele is a professor of psychiatry at Columbia University and director of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Columbia University, the New York State Psychiatric Institute, and the New York-Presbyterian (NYP) /Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. He also serves as the interim director of the NYP Center for Autism and the Developing Brain, where his clinical practice is based.

His research combines both basic science and clinical approaches to probe the neurobiological mechanisms of autism spectrum disorder, with the goal to deliver new treatments to the clinic.
