Vy Nguyen is an undergraduate student at the University of Utah currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in biological science. She began her studies at the University of Science in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and transferred to the University of Utah to further her academic pursuits. In the Shcheglovitov Lab, she had the opportunity to collaborate with Kandy Lizett Napan, focusing on the fields of neurobiology and neuroscience. This research experience sparked Vy’s curiosity and reinforced her determination to explore the unanswered queries in this field. Her interests extend to computational biology, neurobiology and neuromicrobiology, as she recognizes their potential to elucidate the intricacies of the human brain. With her passion for interdisciplinary research, Vy aspires to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in these areas.
