Victoria Deterding joined the Simons Foundation in 2020 as a member of the SFARI team. Prior to joining the Simons Foundation, Victoria worked as the executive assistant to the director at the Health & Human Services Department in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Her previous experience also includes working as an English teacher in France and as an information specialist at the Consulate General and Government Tourist Office of Monaco in New York City. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she completed a dual B.A. in Communication Arts (Radio, TV, Film) and English, as well as several graduate courses in French. She is currently pursuing an M.A. in international affairs at City College of New York.
