Rodrigo Bezanilla Davila

Rodrigo Bezanilla Davila is a rising senior at Southern Methodist University (SMU) majoring in biological sciences and minoring in Spanish and chemistry. He is pursuing the pre-medicine track, seeking to attend medical school, and aspiring to become a trauma surgeon. He is the executive volunteer chair of the Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS) chapter at SMU, and an active member of Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) Health Professional Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) and College Hispanic American Students (CHAS). He has experience as a surgical intern in Clinica HLA Santa Isabel in Seville, Spain, and was a Research for Undergraduates (REU) intern at UTD. He was also an office manager at The Veach Law Firm and an Escrow Specialist in Chicago Title Company. Rodrigo is deeply passionate about giving back to his community and volunteering.
