Raquel Merino joined the Simons Foundation in March 2024 as a member of the Events team. She later joined the SFARI team as project coordinator in December 2025. Previously, she worked in media and entertainment at NBCUniversal. Merino is an alumna of Brooklyn College, City University of New York (CUNY), holding a B.A. in psychology.
