Priyam Thind joined the Simons Foundation in 2022. She primarily manages Research Match for the SFARI cohorts, a process by which existing cohort participants are recruited into new research projects. She also advises on day-to-day issues related to compliance and the distribution of SFARI resources via SFARI Base.

Before her work with the foundation, Thind was a program manager for the Department of Pediatrics at Columbia University, focusing on children’s digital health research and flu and COVID-19 surveillance. She earned her undergraduate degree in public health from the University of Washington and her M.P.H. with a focus on research methods from Columbia University.
