Lorenz Studer is the director of the Center for Stem Cell Biology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. The laboratory utilizes advances in stem cell biology to model human diseases and develop new therapies for degenerative diseases and cancers. Studer’s laboratory has a particular focus on the development and use of human embryonic stem cells and human induced pluripotent stem cells for this work.
