Linda Van Aelst is a professor of cancer research at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. Van Aelst’s research focuses on understanding cellular communication signals and how they control a cell’s shape, what a cell does and how it interacts with other cells. Her laboratory is interested in understanding how such signaling networks work under normal conditions and how inappropriate signaling can lead to cancers and neurological disorders.
