SFARI Socials

SFARI Socials are events consisting of talks, socializing and networking hosted by SFARI at meetings and conferences.

All Society for Neuroscience (SfN) attendees are welcome to join SFARI Investigators and scientific staff for an evening of socializing and networking, including a brief information session on SFARI funding opportunities and scientific resources for the autism research community.

We welcome newcomers to autism research as well as those already investigating the science of autism spectrum disorders.

Simons Foundation staff will be available to answer questions about future opportunities for funding and SFARI resources.

A number of SFARI Investigators will be presenting their research at SfN 2017. To find out more, click here.

Simons Foundation Autism and Neuroscience Social 2023

Join the science team and staff from SFARI and the neuroscience collaborations on the Global Brain and Plasticity and Aging Brain for an evening of socializing and updates. Spectrum, our editorially independent news site for autism research, will announce the launch of an exciting new publication for neuroscientists.

SFARI Lunch Meeting at the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG)

The Simons Foundation welcomes all ASHG 2023 attendees to join us for a lunch meeting. SFARI staff will give a short presentation and then be available to answer questions about the research they support and opportunities for funding. They will also highlight the human cohorts — SPARK and Simons Searchlight — as well as associated resources they have created for the scientific community.
