Christopher Fleisch joined the Simons Foundation in July 2007. He currently works with the SFARI data and analytics team doing bibliometrics and network analysis, building extract, transform and load (ETL) processes, testing and building software used for genomics pipelines, performing adhoc genetic analyses and supporting the Genotypes and Phenotypes in Families (GPF) tool. He also manages the cloud infrastructure team that is responsible for the servers and databases of SFARI, SPARK (Simons Foundation Powering Autism Research), SFARI Gene and Spectrum News.

Fleisch received a bachelor of science in information technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2003 and a master of information and data science from the University of California, Berkeley School of Information in 2018.
