The Kaiser Permanente Autism Family Biobank Study is a three-year project at Kaiser Permanente Northern California. The study is open to Kaiser Permanente Northern California members with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their biological parents.

The goal of this project is to collect genetic, medical and environmental information from 5,000 trios (i.e., individuals with ASD and both biological parents). Participation involves registering online, donating either a blood or saliva sample from each member of the trio and completing two short questionnaires. The data collected will be available to all qualified researchers. Recruitment began in July 2015.
